5 Things Homeschooling Has Taught Me

If you think Homeschooling is just about trying to give your children an awesome education and having time to explore their God-given talents, think again!  It really is about so much more.  In fact, the education piece might just be the easiest part.

Today I'm writing about the 5 Things Homeschooling has Taught Me at The Homeschool Classroom, please head over there to read the rest.

Great post! I think homeschooling has taught me to have more patience, empathy, and understanding. Like you, I have learned that I cannot do it all....I don't even try anymore.

Thanks Jessica. I'm not quite sure what "doing it all" entails anyway, but I know I'm not doing it and I'm perfectly okay with that! Have a great day :)

Thanks for this post. I think some of what you have learned are the things that hold me back. The pull of activities and stuff often get in the way. I appreciate your insight.

Jen, I did my own "Five Things" post and linked to your article. Thanks for sharing!

The activities available are endless and overwhelming, it's important to discern which ones are really worth it. That's a difficult task!

Your article is so spot on! And, I really needed the reminder. Those are all things I tell myself, but I often slip up- especially on the getting up and starting the day right.

Great article, Jen! I guess for me, I would add that it has taught me how to grow even deeper in my faith since I chose to homeschool for religious, faith-filled reasons.
