Catholic Christmas Gifts for Kids

Catholic Christmas Gifts for Kids

(contains affiliate links)

The holidays are quickly approaching.  I love to get started with my shopping early, so I can avoid the last minute rush and truly focus on Advent and the meaning of Christmas.

While many of these gifts are great for Christmas, most could be given throughout the year.  Many would be great for a First Holy Communion, Confirmation, or any other special day throughout the year.

Catholic Rosaries for Children

Trendy Traditions – These handmade, custom made rosaries are beautiful! The personalized ones would be perfect for kids as well as the ribbon rosaries.  I think the college and school colors rosaries would be an awesome gift for a tween/teen boy.

Lego Rosary – This is such a wonderful idea, especially for boys that can be challenging to buy gift for.  Right now this Etsy shop is on vacation until Thanksgiving, but hopefully that means they will be ready for Christmas orders!

Real Life Rosary – Handmade Cord Rosaries – unbreakable for the littles and perfect for tweens/teens.

Five Decade Rosary Bracelets – These are gorgeous!  What teen girl {or Mom!} wouldn’t love to have one of these pieces?

Shealynn’s Faerie Shop – Many unique gifts, rosary bracelets, sacrifice beads, medal earrings

AveMomma – Rosary bracelets

Catholic Picture Books for Kids

Books! – Books are always a great gift.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Bambinelli Sunday: A Christmas Blessing

Book of Saints – This is a well worn book in our house

Max and Benedict: A Bird’s Eye View of the Pope’s Daily Life

The Miracle of St. Nicholas

St. Francis Celebrates Christmas

Catholic Music for Kids

Kids Sing for Jesus – Catholic Songs for Little Ones

Songs of Catholicism for Kids

Matt Maher – our whole family loves Matt Maher!

Jackie Francois

L’ Angelus

Nativity Sets for Children

Nativity Set for Littles

Olive Wood Nativity Set – I just purchased this set for my younger children.

Playmobile Nativity Set

Plush Nativity Set

Catholic Saint Dolls

Catholic Peg Dolls – We personally have several of these peg dolls and it’s a great little stocking stuffer.  Perfect for keeping little hands busy during the rosary and morning prayers.

Felt Saint Dolls – St. Therese is definitely my favorite {I think!}

Soft Body Saint Dolls – They can make any saint you can imagine.

HuggieSaintDolls – Perfect for little hands to take along to mass

Saint Doll Plushie – wouldn’t that little guy be perfect to stick in a shoe or stocking for St. Nicholas’ feast day?

Saint Felt Doll – she also has a cute mass kit!

Catholic T-Shirts for Kids

Catholic – simple Catholic t-shirt
Pro-Life – love this one “pro-life to the max”
Faith Hope Love – love this for a tween/teen girl
Francis 1 – for the tween/teen boy in your home

Miscellaneous Catholic Gift Ideas

Personalized Name Prints – These are so cute and clever!  A child’s name interwoven with a prayer or verse from the bible.  Great baptism gift.

Saint Bows – so cute for little girls! {not recommended for children under age 3}

Brother Francis – Catholic DVD’s for kids

Morning, Jen! I just linked back to this. You made me remember to tell folks that Melanie, over at Trendy Traditions, is having an EARLYBIRD special for orders placed by this Friday, Nov 15! I have used her a couple of times and her work is gorgeous. She is quite creative. Thanks for the great list of gift ideas, too. I was just looking for a wooden nativity set for baby. I found one on etsy.com, but it was way too expensive for me. This is priced more appropriately.

Falling over …… We have the same tastes, obviously. We ADORE the Amy Welborn Saints book, and I just bought the Heroes edition.

Heading over to look at that personalized print now …. So pretty!

And I’ll bet you collect rosaries like I do! Melanie made me one in the summer with all the children’s names …. It is breathtaking.

The felt saint doll looks good. I wonder if you got a felt angel doll too. Angels are just so perfect for little kids.

I know a lot about wedding gifts but baptism gifts are totally new to me. I bought a Christening outfit at Churchgoers.com. Do you think this would make a great gift?

These are some great gifts! I’ve seen the lego rosary pop up numerous times. Do you think that would be a good gift to give my son or is that something better for girls? I have been looking at
    Catholic
gifts online and trying to find things for my children’s rooms. I really love the idea of decorating with child nativity sets.
