Ultimate Guide to Florida Homeschooling

Ultimate Guide to Florida Homeschooling

When we began dreaming and researching a possible move to Florida, one of our main concerns, of course, was that fact that we homeschooled. Michigan is a very easy state in which to homeschool. There is a lot to be said for being able to “stay under the radar” so to speak and teach your children without interference. Thankfully Florida is also an easy state to homeschool in, even if it does require a bit more reporting. We definitely felt like the pros of being in Florida greatly outweighed the cons. We were right!

The opportunities that we have in Florida have greatly enriched our homeschooling and family life.

Encouragement for Homeschooling in Florida

Are you currently homeschooling in Florida? Are you researching Florida homeschooling? If so, I have a fabulous book that will surely improve your homeschooling journey. It is not easy to wade through all of the blog posts and state requirements on many different websites. Who has time to spend a bunch of hours sifting through Facebook groups to find a good idea for a field trip? Forget having to rely on a friend for the what the state and the county require. No more feeling nervous about doing things the right way.

Now you can have all the information at your fingertips!

Truly, this book is your one stop guide to homeschooling in the beautiful state of Florida. I don’t know about you, but I prefer to spend my time with my children actually homeschooling! Now, I do like to research curriculum, but even I have my limits. What I don’t want to do is spend a bunch of time sifting to find legal requirements and waking in the middle of the night thinking “do I file a letter of intent or termination??”

Florida Homeschooling Topics

Everything a homeschooler could need is contained in this book. From getting started with homeschooling, homeschooling requirements, to samples for Letter of Intent and Letter of Termination, to doing dual enrollment in high school and preparing for graduation, plus everything else in between!

Areas of Special Interest to us and our homeschooling journey are:

  • Books by Florida authors/books written about Florida
  • Discounts for Florida Homeschoolers
  • Field Trip Ideas – you know we love those!
  • Ins and outs of evaluations
  • PSAT/SAT/ACT
  • Portfolios – what to include etc
  • Special Needs Homeschooling

There is even a section toward the end that has ideas for unit studies, Florida crafts, printables and more. Good stuff and my kids and I will definitely be digging in. You will want to as well!

Be sure to enter the giveaway for YOUR copy of this super helpful Florida homeschooling book and know you will be CONFIDENTLY and ACCURATELY getting the job done!
