Thrive! Don’t Just Survive Back to School Basket

Back to school is an exciting time, but it can also be a bit overwhelming and a lot of work!

The goal isn’t to merely get through another year, the goal is to thrive!  We want our children to thrive too of course, but if mom is struggling, usually so is everyone else.  As moms we often make sure our husband and our children have what they need to be successful, and put ourselves last.

While it may seem silly to need things like a pretty planner or colored pens, I say absolutely not!  God himself loves beauty and created all the colors of the rainbow, we should enjoy them to the fullest.  A pretty planner and post-it notes in bright colors makes me happy.  I hope it makes you happy too.

I wanted to include some items in the basket that will help make this your best year yet!

Basket of Homeschool Mom Goodies

Included is a pretty planner from Blue Sky.  Turquoise is one of my favorite colors, so I included a journal that matches.  A planner to plan your days and journal to record your thoughts and dreams.

Also some fun {and practical!} pens, highlighters, and sticky notes to make planning and recording even more enjoyable.
These Skoy clothes are new to me, they came highly recommend by my blogging buddy Jess @ Teachable Moments.  I happened find these while doing some shopping when we were at Heritage Camp.  I picked up a pack for me and a pack for you.  I have been using my clothes and have been very happy with them.  After you get done cleaning up, you can pamper your hands a bit with some lavender lotion from Crabtree & Evenlyn.

A basket from me wouldn’t be complete without a couple samples of Shakeology and a couple of other Beachbody goodies.  Taking care of your physical health is an important component to thriving, not just surviving!

Quick Note: I wanted to include a yummy dark chocolate bar, because let’s face it, there are some days we just need chocolate! but I didn’t think shipping chocolate in July was such a great idea.  Sorry :(

May God bless you abundantly in your homeschool journey this year.  Thank you for being here!
