Alphabet Path Wrap Up

The zoo just isn't going to work out for us this week.  The sun has been shining, but 30 degrees isn't exactly wandering around the zoo weather.  Instead we made play dough, pulled out of the letter cookie cutters, and had a snack.

Our A - Z snacks,

Apple, Z-Bar, with some (runny!) vanilla pudding

even a bit of math thrown in

and just some random cuteness...

Despite the fact that Anna recently said "can we just be done with letters, I'm never going to remember them all!" we really enjoyed our letter of the week routine.  Eventually she'll remember those letters.

Next week we will jump back into Five in a Row with The Little Red Lighthouse and The Great Gray Bridge.

What a great accomplishment! It looks like a great celebration even without the zoo.

Praying for Sarah's surgery this week!

Looks like the kids had a great time learning their alphabet!

I agree with you on the zoo...brrr!

Praying for Sarah, also. Sweet little girl :)

Your new blog look is great! I've been meaning to tell you. I also sent you an email.

Had to laugh at Anna's comment...remember...seeds! You are planting seeds (and it is back breaking work, isn't it?!)

The pictures are darling, especially of your little man.

Good job on the alphabet path!

Playdoh and cookie cutters - what a great idea!! And you know she'll know all those letters before you know it...and then you have to move onto sight words!!

I wish it would warm up here! I wanted to take the kids to the D Zoo next week during their spring break, but it needs to be at least close to 50 before I'll stay outside that long!
