Help! I Can’t Find my Homeschool Room

Homeschool Room 2014

This is definitely not the typical homeschool room post! I’m supposed to be showing pictures of my perfectly organized room, with a specific spot for everything. Know what my homeschool room looks like right now?

This is what it used to look like: Our Homeschool Room – 2012-2013, since then we have made lots of changes.

The reason? Homeschooling through a move, again! Although this time we are moving to our permanent home. Yay! Last year it was our big move from Michigan to Florida and we moved into a house that we rented, now we are buying and can really make the house our home.

Help! I Can't Find My Homeschool Room

Last year as we were unpacking into our rental space, it was hard to feel too settled. We knew it was temporary, I didn’t want to purchase anything to fit this particular house because I knew we weren’t going to be there long! It was a bit challenging, but we were thankful to be in Florida and have a roof over our heads.

While we are getting settled and I’m planning our homeschooling space, I’m perusing my favorite homeschool spaces Pinterest boards:

Until that happens we will be doing school portable style!

We moved in March so I feel your pain. The excitement of getting to organize a new homeschool space. Followed by the REALIZATION that you have to organize a new homeschool space. I know it will turn out wonderfully a day or two before you HAVE to start school. ;) Blessings, K

Yes! Fun to dream, not so much fun to actually complete. Interestingly enough we have already started school – it just adds to the excitement :)

I’m so glad to see your post! I was sitting here thinking “But my spaces are not ready for the blog hop!” We moved in November and adopted a newborn in December so I’m still trying to get use to the new house and new spaces with school. I guess I’ll post what I have and not feel too bad it isn’t perfect! May God bless your new move!

It is so hard to homeschool while moving, but I do see lots of exciting potential in your new learning space. Love the window!

We just experienced that earlier this year! When we moved I was about to have our 3d baby and I decided NOT to tackle our school room, but over the summer I did with my husband’s and kid’s help! Looking forward to seeing your room once it’s done but for now, school wherever and don’t get stressed about it! :)
