Happy Feast of the Assumption!
Today is the first official day of our 2012-2013 school year.
We are kicking off the day by going to mass and then out to breakfast with the "principal". We will spend part of the afternoon learning more about this beautiful feast day, coloring reading, and just getting into a more structured way of learning frame of mind.
I will have some photos to share later in the week. Here is a craft for the Feast of the Assumption, that we have done in previous years.
I swiped the idea of starting our school year on this feast day from Tiffany @ Family at the Foot of the Cross, she always has great ideas for feast days.

Happy 1st official day, my friend! I know Our Lady will be guiding you straight for her Son on this special day. And enjoy that breakfast with the Principal:) We are postponing ours until Friday when ours comes home!
