Favorite Part

Every night at dinner, we go around the table asking each person what their favorite part of the day was.  It has become part of our nightly routine and the kids rarely let us forget the ritual.  Now this is probably a video only a mother (or dad) could love, but if you have a child with special challenges, then you will understand how it really is the little milestones that are so important.  Leah has a speech delay and each new word really is a big deal.  Imagine how fun it was last week when Leah started asking everyone at dinner about their "favorite part".  Such a reminder that it must be so frustrating for her, on a daily basis, to struggle to communicate with her family.  My favorite part of the video is not only her saying "favorite part", but that her siblings realize what a big deal this is too...

a quick note...we were eating cupcakes from cake decorating class, that's what she has all over her face!

I just want to come through the screen and give them all a big hug! So neat to hear everyone's voices...as well as yours!

Terribly sweet moment:)

I love it! She really has made huge strides this year. She is so smart. Of course we love Leah just the way she is, but it's fun to finally hear about what is going on inside that cut little head.

It's also nice that Ben is so loved by his cousins, the feeling is mutual! He loved this video!
