Homemade Things

I thought I would share some of the semi-homemade items that we included in our gift bags this year.  I purchased reusable bags from a dollar store, I like gifts to be practical and useful too.

Here is a list of what was inside:

bath salts or sugar scrub
granola
trail mix
chocolate suckers
small craft kits
Christmas pencils
coloring books
match box cars
inexpensive board game
Mystic Monk Coffee
homemade Christmas music CD

The music CD was super easy to do.  We downloaded a bunch of Christmas songs that we liked, as well as a Christmas song in Russian, a Christmas song in Korean, and a Christmas song by a Steel Drum Band, into iTunes and simply burned the CD.

I intended to include a knitted dishrag, but since I am a very slow knitter, I only finished one.  I need to start my knitting projects a bit earlier next year :)

All the gifts sounded neat, but the CD has to be the neatest ( at least I think). And to include international music...very special!

Homemade gifts have always been a tradition in our house too. I love your ideas- especially the music and the reusable bags.
