Favorite Catholic Prayers

I was recently tagged in a meme by two bloggers I have really enjoyed getting to know over the past few months, Lori at Catholic Baby Steps and Patty at Reasons for Chocolate.

We are supposed to list our three favorite prayers or devotionals.

We always say these three things after we say our decade of the rosary each morning:

1.  Holy Souls, suffering souls, pray to God for me as I pray for you that God will grant you the glory of Heaven.

2. Guardian Angel Prayer:
Angel of God, my guardian dear to whom God's love entrusts me here, ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide.  Amen

3. St. Michael:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen

Yes! All prayers for the souls are great prayers. I have received so many beautiful reminders of all the prayers we are blessed with in our faith. Thanks for sharing, Jen.

Thank you for participating. I am always reminding the boys to call on their guardian angel. :)
