Chicken in Maple Syrup

Crock-Pot Tuesday:

I have made a variation of this recipe before, but always in the oven.  Tuesday needs to be a crock-pot day, so I am going to see what happens!

Here are the ingredients I used:

Chicken Thighs (salt & pepper)

Red Onion

Carrots

Sweet Potatoes

Maple Syrup drizzled on top

Yum, that sounds good. Yesterday I threw together (attempting to clean things out before we leave) chicken thighs, chicken broth, onion, quinoa, a can of Rotel tomatoes, cumin, and garlic powder. It turned out yummy!

P.S. the word verification is "sureins" !!!

That sounds good! Where are you getting quinoa? WF?

Maybe that means you will hear something today!

I'm so glad I found your blog via the Hip Homeschool Hop! I am going to try this recipe. I have a "What's for Dinner Wednesday" feature that often has crockpot recipes... I'll have one up tomorrow, so check it out!

It turned out pretty good. We ate it, but I won't be in a hurry to make it again!! I think it is better in the oven than the crockpot :) It didn't have quite as much flavor as I thought it would. Better luck next time I guess!
